“If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probably explanation is that I was made for another world.” – C. S. Lewis
I am a gypsy soul in human form who has much interest in all living organisms, especially humanity. I am one of those who might ask what does Love mean, why does Love mean that, who defined Love; where did who and the characters used to define Love come from? What is the evolution of Love? How does Love apply and to what extent, if any? Who created whom? What is matter quantifiable and non-quantifiable? To what subject matter or no matter at all would you ask these questions? What kind of answers would you find, if any? Is there a final and/or complete answer? I can tell you this blog does not provide those answers, but what I know for sure is, Possibilities Are Endless that if we open our soul and mind to Humility, that even after we are physically gone, we will still be defining and redefining Meaning.
“Of all the books in the world, the best stories are found between the pages of a passport.” – Anonymous
I visited Europe recently because the history of the Romans, Venetians, Florentine, and Parisians interest me. The rise and fall of monarchy and leadership are among several aspects of their history that intrigues me followed by the differences and commonality of humanity through their evolution. I’m no subject matter expert; however, I feel they searched for what we search for today which is The Meaning of Life.
I chose to tour Europe with a group for safety reasons, but more importantly I wanted to meet humans from around the world and embrace each meeting by learning as much as I could regarding their country, culture and character. One of many things I learned is that we all often mean the same thing; however, our choice of word and reasoning for the word might be different. For example, something as simple as the word used to define the place we go to freshen up might be bathroom, restroom or toilet. Different, but the meaning is the same. Something polar opposite of the bathroom might be different religions which comprise of Faith, Love and Compassion through worship, prayer or sacrifice; all actions are different, but has similar reasoning and well intentions by their own definitions… At the end of this trip, I recognized that I did not find the answers I sought-after; however, I recognized another form of meaning to living in the moment that this continuing journey is a matter of perspective, that humans, places. and things are divinely guided to us at the right time, and the right place; that what is meant for us, favorable or unfavorable is meant for us; that we live this reality to continuously learn and improve spiritually, mentally and physically.
